Best first priority: a reliable Phone loop
For most players, the Phone is the most important gadget family because it directly supports answer correction. A Phone upgrade that increases useful output or processing speed can reduce the number and duration of teacher-facing risks. The upgrade is only valuable after you can capture, hide, read, and correct without leaving the device exposed.
Do not treat “upgrade Phone first” as permission to buy an unverified tier. Open the current Shop and compare price, currency, level gate, capacity, and speed. Beta balance can change, and community tables do not always agree.
Best gadget by failure type
| Failure you see | Gadget role to inspect | Skill that still matters |
|---|---|---|
| Too many Phone scans | Higher-capacity Phone | Numbered correction batches |
| Processing takes too long | Faster Phone | Immediate hide on teacher turn |
| Timer causes late panic | Smart Watch or timing tool | Reserving review time |
| Need another information route | Smart Glasses | Anxiety and sightline control |
| Active survival meter ends runs | Matching support or snack item | Monitoring the current HUD |
| Multiplayer reporting is the goal | Snitch-related utility | Valid targets and trust decisions |
| Items are lost after failure | Inventory protection | Avoiding the caught state first |
This table ranks problem–solution fit, not rarity. The best gadget is the one that changes a recurring failure into a completed assessment.
Best early free-to-play order
Begin with the standard pencil, answer sheet, and owned Phone. Complete assessments until you understand teacher gaze and can read the result screen. Save Credits rather than buying every newly available item.
When the Phone becomes the bottleneck, compare the earliest useful improvement you can actually equip. A lower tier that reduces one scan now may provide better return than waiting several levels for the strongest reported device. If time—not processing—is the real problem, a verified timing tool may deserve priority.
Recheck the Shop after every level gain. An item can require both a level and enough Credits. Meeting only one condition does not make it purchasable.
Smart Watch versus Smart Glasses
Choose a Smart Watch when you regularly forget the timer or misjudge the time left for review. Confirm what information the current item displays. If the normal interface already gives you enough timing information, its value may be small.
Choose Smart Glasses only after reading the current effect and any meter tradeoff. Community guides describe them as an information tool, but reported Credit prices conflict and some references may mix in a Robux option. Verify the exact live card before purchasing.
Glasses do not make the teacher blind. Use them briefly, hide when attention changes, and return to the pencil for Anxiety recovery.
Best gadget for perfect-score attempts
The strongest perfect-run loadout reduces correction cycles and protects time for review. A verified higher-capacity or faster Phone is the core candidate. Add a timing tool only if it helps you know when to stop processing and submit.
Avoid filling every slot with information gadgets. More inputs increase the chance of selecting the wrong item when the teacher turns. A simple loadout with known controls can outperform a complicated expensive one.
Perfect results also require Version A/B handling and accurate numbered transfers. Read Ultimate Cheater before blaming equipment for a wrong sheet.
Best multiplayer choices
In a friend group, one player with the best Phone can process a small batch for matching-version teammates while others remain hidden. A timing tool may help the caller reserve submission time. Every player should still be capable of finishing independently if seating, version, or trust breaks the group plan.
Snitch-related utility can earn or support social actions under community-observed rules, but it changes the relationship with the room. Verify targets, cooldown, reward, and paid status. Do not spend on it if your goal is cooperative answer sharing.
Inventory protection can matter to players carrying valuable consumables, but it should not replace learning stealth. Read one-use versus permanent wording carefully at the caught-state prompt.
Gadgets to delay
Delay any item whose effect you cannot describe from the current card. Delay support items for a meter that is not visible in your current build. Delay a wearable whose price or currency remains unclear. Delay paid shortcuts until you understand the free loop they are skipping.
Also delay an upgrade when control mistakes cause failures. Practice selecting and hiding the owned Phone first. More capacity does not help if the wrong inventory slot stays open under teacher gaze.

Purchase checklist
- The item exists in the current live Shop.
- Name, effect, currency, price, and level gate are clear.
- Permanent, consumable, or one-use status is clear.
- The item addresses a failure seen in recent assessments.
- Its control and hide action are understood.
- The purchase does not depend on an unverified old price.
- Robux purchases use Roblox’s own confirmation.
Test one purchase across several rounds. Compare completions, grade, number of Phone cycles, and time remaining. If the result does not improve, return to the simple loadout and fix the underlying routine.
