What a Phone upgrade changes
The Phone is the main answer-processing tool shown in current Cheating During Testing community play. It photographs your sheet and returns numbered corrections for answers that are wrong. Community tier descriptions emphasize two improvements: capacity, meaning more useful answers per process, and speed, meaning less time spent waiting for the result.
Both effects can reduce danger. More capacity means fewer photos; more speed means shorter exposure per photo. Neither changes the teacher’s sight rule. Hide the Phone whenever attention returns, even if an upgraded process is nearly complete.
Verify every tier in the Shop
Community pages currently publish tier snapshots, but exact prices and level gates may change during Beta. Open the live Shop and record the item name, Credit or Robux currency, price, required level, answer capacity, processing speed, and permanence. Compare it directly with the Phone already owned.
Do not mix fields from different snapshots. A low price on one page and a high capacity on another may describe different tiers or builds. The live card is the purchase decision.

The safest Phone pipeline
- Open your answer sheet with the current prompt and confirm Version A or B.
- Prepare a baseline if the community all-A method still works in the current build.
- Hide the sheet and locate the teacher with one brief camera check.
- Wait for a clear facing-away or fully blocked sightline.
- Equip the Phone and follow its current photo prompt.
- Hide immediately when the teacher begins turning.
- Read returned question numbers and choices in small batches.
- Correct the sheet and return to the pencil for Anxiety recovery.
An upgraded Phone shortens steps 5 through 7 or reduces how often they repeat. It does not remove the need to prepare and recover.
Capacity versus speed
Choose capacity when the number of scans is the problem. If a run needs several separate photos and each creates another detection opportunity, receiving more corrections per process can reduce the total cycle count.
Choose speed when processing time is the problem. If the Phone is already returning enough information but holds you in a risky state too long, faster completion may provide more value.
If both are improved by a later tier, compare the benefit with its current cost and level requirement. A smaller upgrade available now can be better than delaying every purchase for a top tier that remains several levels away.
Use the all-A baseline carefully
Community players often mark every question A before the Phone capture. Under observed behavior, the Phone skips questions that are already correct and lists corrections for the rest. That reduces the amount of returned information, making capacity more efficient.
Confirm this behavior after updates. If the Phone now reports answers differently, continuing the baseline blindly can lower grades. Keep every returned choice attached to its question number, and do not shift later letters upward when one number is skipped.
Version A and Version B also matter. A better Phone processes your current paper; it does not make an answer sequence from the other version correct.
When to buy an upgrade
Buy after you can complete the basic Phone loop without keeping the device out under teacher gaze. Measure how many captures a typical assessment needs and where time is lost. Then select the upgrade that reduces that measured bottleneck.
Do not upgrade simply because a community route names a particular early price. Balance can change. Check the live card, keep enough Credits for any support item you actually need, and test the new tier across several assessments before buying another tool.
Paid Credit packs or level skips may accelerate access, but they are optional. The official description confirms Credits from completed tests and larger rewards for higher grades. A stable free completion loop can fund equipment while teaching the skills that the upgrade supports.
Phone troubleshooting
The Phone shows no corrections. Confirm the photo completed, processing finished, and the baseline did not already match some answers. Hide before investigating.
The result ends after a few answers. Capacity may limit each process. Wait for another safe window and repeat instead of assuming the device failed.
The price differs from a guide. Trust the current Shop and check the currency. Beta balance and separate Robux offers can explain the mismatch.
An upgraded Phone still gets me caught. Shorten exposure and study teacher safe windows. Speed is not invisibility.
A tier is owned but not active. Confirm it is equipped in the loadout, rejoin a fresh server once, and inspect the current inventory state.

- Basic capture and hide routine reliable.
- Purchase fixes a measured scan or processing bottleneck.
